Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is a condition in which male breasts enlarge and reach an appearance of female breast. Breast tissue is completely removed by an incision done through nipple. Occasionally, it may be concomitantly applied with liposuction in order to decrease the surrounding adipose tissue. The operation may be performed under general or local anesthesia. It is not required for the patient to stay in the clinic following the operation and he is usually discharged the same day.

Depending on its type, gynecomastia may also be corrected with liposuction alone. In our clinic, very favorable results are achieved with laser lipolysis which is immediately followed by liposuction.
