Face Lifting

With advanced age, sagging and wrinkles occur in the skin of face and neck. Face lifting is an aesthetic-intended procedure to correct and occasionally to eliminate the signs of aging. Classically, face lifting procedures are performed to remove excessive saggy or loose skin of the face and neck.

If there is a complaint of bags around the eyes, it may be performed concurrently with blepharoplasty or alone. It may be combined with peeling and tissue injections. Face lifting operations may be performed under general or local anesthesia depending on the extent of the operation and status of the patient. These operations last for 2.5 to 4 hours. The patient may be discharged on the same day.
