Liposuction

It is a procedure consisted of sucking the fat with vacuum in order to give the body a new shape. This procedure is also known as Body Sculpturing, Body Contouring, Liposhaping. The operation is performed under general or local anesthesia and it may last for 1 to 4 hours depending on the amount of fat to be sucked. The fat is sucked by entering the fat tissue through incisions of 0.5 mm to be kept masked on several areas of the body. Special corsets are worn following the operation. The patients are usually discharged on the same or following day. It is recommended that the corset is worn for about 6 weeks.
