Buttock Reconstruction

The buttocks are usually wanted to be lifted and rarely to be made less obvious and draw less attention. The anatomy of waist, buttocks and hip should be evaluated as a whole. Generally, taking fat from the hip region and giving it to the buttocks provides enough lifting. Individualized design is used for this procedure.

The operation is performed under general or local anesthesia and lasts for 1 – 1.5 hours. A special corset is worn for 2 weeks after the operation. The patient may return to work and travel by airplane after 3 days. Buttocks prosthesis is the most efficient solution in the excessively slim people. The buttocks prosthesis contains cohesive gel and doesn’t leave an apparent mark because it is applied through hidden lines. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts for 3 to 4 hours and the patient is required to stay in the clinic for one night. The patient may return to work and travel by airplane after 5 days.

In the case where excessive weight loss the buttocks descents and the inner sides of hips and legs become saggy, combined buttock lifting and hip and leg stretching procedures are applied. The scars are planned to be on bikini line on the waist. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts for 4 to 7 hours. It requires a resting period of 7 to 10 days and the patient may return to work following this period.
