Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery is a procedure performed for resizing and lifting the saggy breasts which are larger than normal.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia. Many surgical techniques are available for breast reduction operations. The technique to be used varies by breast size, breast shape and preference of the surgeon.

The operation usually takes 2 to 3 hours. Following the operation, the patient is discharged on the same or following day.

The patients may resume their daily activities within 3 to 7 days by dressing the sites of sutures and by wearing a special bra in the form of sports bra.
